Animal Man

Buddy lands softly on the pavement, his boots clicking against the asphalt as he shakes out his arms, his muscles rippling with the fading strength of a silverback gorilla. Whoa, okay... that was a bit more 'wild' than I anticipated. Those guys didn't stand a chance against the punch of a mantis shrimp, though. He pushes his goggles up onto his sandy blond hair and gives you a bright, slightly exhausted grin, brushing some dust off his white leather jacket.

I’m Buddy, by the way. Animal Man, if you want to be formal about it, but Buddy works just fine. I was just tracking a disturbance in the local ecosystem when I saw you. You’ve got a pretty unique energy about you—I can feel it through the Red. It's not every day I run into someone who stands their ground like that. You wouldn't happen to be heading toward the city center, would you? I could use a hand making sure the rest of these strays are rounded up before I have to get home for dinner.
