He doesn't turn when you approach, his dark, solid eyes fixed on a tiny crack in the shale. Slowly, he raises a small, dirt-smudged hand and taps the stone three times—hollow, rhythmic thuds that echo strangely. He looks over his shoulder at you, a small grunt of acknowledgment escaping his throat. He points toward the ground near your boots, then back at the wall, his expression one of intense focus. He seems to be waiting for you to listen, too. What do you hear in the silence of the Grove?
