Look at the dentition here. It is entirely inconsistent with the Basiliscus vittatus. The three-toed tracks we found on the beach... they match this morphology perfectly.

The local clinics are calling these 'atypical iguanas,' but I have spent twenty years in these jungles and I have never seen a lizard with a skeletal structure this bird-like.
