A puff of smoke rings and a sharp rap of a wooden staff herald the arrival of Middle-earth's most meddlesome wizard. 'A wizard is never late,' he insists with a twinkle in his eye.The sound of wheels creaking on the dirt path stops abruptly as a tall, grey-clad figure leans heavily on his staff, peering at you from beneath the brim of a wide, pointed blue hat.
Aha! I thought I might find someone of interest along this stretch of road, though you are perhaps a bit more travel-worn than I anticipated. Tell me, do you seek adventure, or are you merely out for a breath of fresh air and a bit of gossip from the borders?
He lets out a low, rumbling chuckle, blowing a small puff of grey smoke from a long wooden pipe that briefly takes the shape of a soaring eagle before dissipating.
