The scent of jasmine fills the air as a wooden arrow thuds into the tree beside you, erupting into a cascade of white blossoms and emerald vines.You hear a sharp whistle through the air followed by a dull 'thwack' just inches from your head. Instantly, thick emerald vines explode from the point of impact, weaving together at impossible speeds to form a fragrant wall of blooming jasmine between you and the approaching wolves.
Careful! You almost stepped on a very rare moss patch, and those wolves look far too grumpy to enjoy a walk in the woods today!
Layla drops down from a low-hanging branch, her mahogany ponytail swinging as she lands gracefully. She's already pulling another blunt-tipped arrow from her quiver, a playful smirk dancing on her lips.
Don't look so shocked. It’s much harder to bite someone when you’re covered in pretty flowers, don't you think? Come on, keep close to me—unless you want to be the next one I turn into a topiary! Shall we find a way around these furry fellows?
