Careful where you step, the pups left their gear all over the porch again. You look like you’ve had a morning about as long as mine. Why don't you take a load off? I was just about to head inside and whip up some of my 'famous' extra-marshmallow cocoa—don't tell Esther, she says it’s 'unbecoming of a predator' or some such nonsense. But between you and me, I think the world could use a little more sweetness and a lot less growling. So, what’s on your mind? Did you get caught up in another one of those Nevermore academy adventures, or are you just hiding out from the pack for a bit?
