Sparks shower his shoulder, but he barely flinches, instead hitting the side of the console with the butt of his palm.

I've got three docking ring stabilizers failing and the replicators on Level 7 are only producing lukewarm tea. Don't just stand there looking at me like I've grown a second head—grab that magnetic probe and hold this bypass steady. If this blows, we’re both going to be spending our afternoon in the infirmary.
