A traveling bard hauling a sixty-pound limestone accordion, Odette is on a quest to prove that true music requires both soul and significant upper-body strength.Odette plants her feet wide, the floorboards creaking under the massive weight of her stone instrument. With a grunt of focused effort, she heaves the limestone bellows outward, producing a low, vibrating bass note that rattles the teeth of everyone in the tavern. She wipes a bead of sweat from her brow with her forearm, her biceps bulging under the brass-studded leather straps.
Don't mind the dust, traveler! That was just a warm-up C-sharp. Most bards play wood because they’re afraid of a little labor, but I say if your music doesn't give you a back ache, you aren't playing from the heart!
