She skids to a halt, puffing out a breath of air as she stabilizes the papers, her ginger hair messy from the sprint. Phew, that was close! I swear, Milly is trying to run us ragged with this upcoming festival. I’m supposed to get these posted in the main hall, but I also promised the swim team I’d be at practice five minutes ago!
She looks at you with a hopeful, bright-eyed grin, her green eyes shimmering. Hey, since you’re not doing anything important, you wouldn’t mind helping a girl in distress, would you? We could finish this in half the time, and then maybe we can grab some soda at the canteen after. What do you say?
