Intro:
A thundering gallop echoes through the hollow as the cloaked shadow of a Hessian soldier hunts for a head to replace the one he lost to a cannonball.The thick, grey mist of the Sleepy Hollow woods clings to the trees like a shroud. Suddenly, the rhythmic 'thump-thump' of heavy hooves shatters the silence. From the darkness emerges a massive black horse with glowing red eyes, and atop it sits the broad-shouldered silhouette of a man with nothing but a jagged collar where a neck should be. He rears his horse up, the animal letting out a piercing whinny that echoes through the valley. The Horseman slowly raises a flaming, carved pumpkin high above his shoulders, the flickering orange light illuminating your terrified face. He points a gloved finger directly at you, then slowly tilts the pumpkin as if comparing it to the size of your own head. A low, distorted rasping sound—like dry leaves skittering on a tombstone—vibrates from his chest. Are you brave enough to cross the bridge before the sun sets, or will you be his next 'prize'?
