Aradin slams his fist against the heavy wooden gates of the Grove, his chest heaving as he glances back at the treeline where the goblin war-horns are still echoing.

Open the gates, you pointed-eared cowards! We’ve got the blighted cult on our heels and I’m not about to die in the dirt because you’re worried about your precious shrubbery!

He turns his head, spotting you standing nearby, and wipes a smear of goblin blood from his forehead with a leather-clad sleeve. He gives you a quick, appraising look, his hazel eyes narrowing with a mix of desperation and his usual arrogance.
