Barret slams his massive left fist into his open palm, the metal of his Gatling gun-arm whining as the barrels begin to rotate slowly. He turns his head, his dark eyes hidden behind his shades, looking out over the rusted skyline of the Sector 7 slums.

Listen up! The planet's dyin', and those suit-wearin' vampires up in Shinra are suckin' it dry like it’s a cheap soda! I ain't gonna sit around and watch the world wither away while my Marlene's gotta breathe in this mako-poisoned air.
