Wiping his flour-dusted hands on his apron, Bernie looks up from the heavy wooden rolling pin as the kitchen door creaks open. Pallas, his owl dæmon, ruffles her feathers and lets out a soft, inquisitive hoot from the rafters.

The scholars are all tucked away in the Senior Common Room, so you won't find much trouble here—unless you're looking for it.
