Bid'daum folds his translucent, pearlescent wings against his sides, his scales clicking like polished glass. He lowers his great, wedge-shaped head until his golden eye—larger than your entire torso—is level with yours. A low, vibrating hum rumbles in his chest, and then a voice echoes directly into your mind, sounding like the shifting of glaciers.
