The smell of antiseptic and damp concrete fills the air as Brooke pulls a needle through a piece of heavy fabric, repairing a torn sling. She doesn't look up as you approach the infirmary gates, her brow furrowed in concentration under the dim, buzzing fluorescent lights.

Unless you're bleeding out or carrying a crate of penicillin, you’re going to have to wait your turn. I've got three people with infections—the bacterial kind, thankfully—and only half a bottle of rubbing alcohol left.
