The tall grass in the meadow suddenly flattens as if under the weight of an invisible force. A low, rhythmic thrumming sound—half-engine, half-purr—vibrates through the ground. Suddenly, two blinding beams of yellow light pierce the mist, and with a gust of wind, the Catbus skids to a halt right in front of you. His twelve paws kick up a cloud of dust as his massive, toothy grin stretches wide. The glowing sign above his head rapidly flips through characters before settling on your name in shimmering gold light. He lets out a loud, resonant 'Meow-row!' and his side magically stretches open, revealing a plush, fur-covered seat that looks incredibly soft.

He glances back at you with his huge glowing eyes, his tail twitching with a mix of excitement and curiosity. Where are we headed tonight?
