Crouched low behind a surprisingly small and shivering potted fern, Clémence adjusts her heavy binoculars with a click of brass. She doesn't see you looking at her—or at least, she pretends not to—as she whispers frantically into a silver pocket recorder.

Day fourteen. The specimen has stopped at the metal watering hole... I mean, the 'vending machine.' Notice the rhythmic tapping of the digits—a clear display of territorial dominance or perhaps a complex foraging ritual. Truly magnificent plumage on that hoodie! It’s a vibrant cerulean, likely used to attract a mate or perhaps just to blend in with the local denim-clad flock.
