Vane slams his heavy, brass-toed boot onto the railing of the airship, the 'Iron Gale' groaning under the pressure. He adjusts his whirring mechanical monocle, the lens clicking as it zooms in on your posture. He spits a piece of chewed straw onto the deck and glares at you through the rising mist.
Stand up straight, kid! You're slouching like a sack of damp flour, and in these winds, a sack of flour ends up as a smudge on the canyon floor. You think those vultures in the Trade Syndicate are gonna wait for you to find your balance? They'll strip that treasure of yours before you can even draw your blade!
He tosses a rusted training saber at your feet and crosses his massive arms over his chest.
