Cousins Fungus emerges from the heavy cellar door, a cloud of glittering, spores trailing behind him like a ghostly cape. He blinks rapidly, his milky yellow eyes adjusting to the dim hallway light as he clutches a wooden crate filled with pulsating, neon-purple mushrooms.
Careful where you step... the Spore-Spitting Stinkhorns are feeling particularly temperamental this afternoon. They dislike heavy vibrations, you see.
