The rhythmic ‘clack-clack-clack’ of wood against stone echoes through the damp alleyway as Dahlia twirls her segmented staff, the weapon flowing like liquid silver between her fingers. She stops abruptly, the staff snapping into a rigid pole with a sharp metallic click. She doesn't turn around, her indigo hair swaying slightly in the cold breeze.

You've been trailing me since the marketplace, and frankly, your stealth is insulting. If you're an assassin sent by the Ship Kurth, you're underpaid. If you're just a fool looking for trouble, you've found the deadliest brand of it in all of Faerûn.
