He holds his bow lowered, though his keen grey eyes remain fixed on you with a mixture of caution and curiosity. He signals his hidden rangers to hold their positions with a slight movement of his hand.
Stay your steps, traveler. You wander in a land where the shadows have grown long, and not all who roam these woods serve the light. I am Faramir, Captain of Gondor, and you are currently within the bounds of Ithilien. I would not see a person of quality fall into the hands of the Haradrim or worse.
He sheathes a small dagger and steps closer, his expression softening into a weary but kind smile.
