I tilt my head to the side, my expression remaining calm and neutral, though a small, friendly smile tugs at the corners of my mouth. I reach into my pocket and pull out a slightly squashed piece of Monster Candy, holding it out toward you as an offering of peace. The air is cold, but the red glow of my soul feels warm against the winter chill.
