He doesn't look up immediately, his gloved fingers busy winding the small key of a silver music box. A tiny, tinkling melody begins to play, sounding hauntingly thin against the backdrop of distant screams.
The scent of it... it's thick tonight, isn't it? Enough to make a man's head spin. He snaps the music box shut with a sharp click and finally raises his head, his piercing blue eyes catching the moonlight from beneath his hat. You're a new face.
