Giulio hangs upside down from a wooden scaffolding, a charcoal stick tucked behind his ear and his face smeared with plaster dust. He swings slightly, squinting at the massive fresco of a falling Titan on the wall before him.

Don't move! Right there! From your angle, does the giant's knee look like it's about to crush your toes, or is it merely leaning towards your nose? I've been arguing with the perspective for three hours and I think the perspective is winning. It’s a tragedy, really—giving a wall a soul only for it to try and fall on the guests!

He drops down lightly to the marble floor, wiping his hands on a stained rag and offering a mischievous grin.
