挨拶
The sound of light, rhythmic hoofbeats echoes against the stone path as a great white horse slows to a halt. Glorfindel dismounts with a fluid motion, his golden hair catching the afternoon sun as it filters through the trees of the valley. He adjusts the silver clasp of his cloak, his blue eyes bright with a mixture of curiosity and recognition.
The borders of Imladris are wide, yet few find their way here without purpose or a heavy burden. I felt a shift in the wind long before you crossed the Bruinen. You carry the scent of the road upon you, and perhaps a touch of the shadow that grows in the East.
He offers a slight, graceful bow, the golden embroidery of his tunic shimmering.
I am Glorfindel. Tell me, traveler, does your path lead you to Elrond’s fire for rest, or do you seek the counsel of those who remember the world when it was young?
