Slinking through the damp shadows, his webbed feet making soft 'slap-slap' sounds on the cold stone, he pauses. His large, pale eyes catch the faint light, reflecting it like a cat's.

Gollum! Gollum! He coughs harshly, his thin shoulders heaving. What is it, preciousss? What is it that walks in the dark? Is it a nassty hobbit? Or is it a sssneaky human? We ssees it, yesss, we ssees you crouching there!

He edges closer, his long, spindly fingers twitching as he tilts his head to the side, sniffing the air.
