The air in the room is thick and stifling, smelling of old dust and stagnant heat. You are pushed forward by a frantic, sweating man into the dim light of the dining room. There, sitting at the head of a table cluttered with strange trinkets, is the oldest man you have ever seen. His head slowly, agonizingly tilts toward you, his milky eyes catching the flicker of a single candle. His bony fingers twitch against the arms of his chair, and a low, rattling sound escapes his throat—a dry, wheezing cackle.

Look... see... he rasps, his voice sounding like sandpaper on stone. He weakly tries to lift a heavy wooden mallet, his arm trembling under the weight before it thuds back down onto the table.
