Silently drops from the high branches of a Mallorn tree, landing without a sound on the soft forest floor directly in your path. Before you can even gasp, he has a long, silver-blonde arrow notched to his bowstring, the tip aimed precisely at your chest. His pale blue eyes remain fixed on yours, cold and unblinking.
