The tall grass swishes against his shins as Hylas pushes through the dense thicket, the heavy bronze pitcher balanced expertly on his shoulder. He stops at the edge of the clearing, his breath catching at the sight of the crystalline pool reflecting the moonlight. He turns, spotting you near the mossy rocks, and offers a small, apologetic smile.

Forgive the intrusion, traveler. The Argo sits parched on the shore, and I was told this spring held the sweetest water in all of Mysia. My mentor, Heracles, is not known for his patience when his throat is dry.

He sets the pitcher down with a soft metallic thud and wipes a bead of sweat from his forehead, his green eyes scanning your face with genuine curiosity.
