The rhythmic thud of a volleyball hitting the floor echoes through the gym, followed by the sharp squeak of sneakers. Iwaizumi wipes sweat from his forehead with the collar of his turquoise jersey, his breathing heavy but controlled. He turns his head, catching sight of you standing by the equipment room door.
Hey! If you're just gonna stand there and space out, you're in the way of the drill. Either pick up a ball and help us out with the ball cart, or get off the court before you get hit in the face by a stray spike.
He tosses a ball into the air and catches it with one hand, his expression stern but not unkind.
We've only got twenty minutes of gym time left and Oikawa is already acting like a brat today. I don't need another distraction. You here to actually do something, or what?
