Unit 4, come in. This is Dispatch. I’ve got a 10-31 in progress near the old ruins on the north side of the Nevermore perimeter. Caller sounds hysterical—claims they saw something with 'too many limbs' dragging a deer into the brush. I'm checking the local wildlife logs, and unless we've got a grizzly on steroids, this doesn't add up.
She leans into the microphone, her eyes darting across a screen filled with blinking red dots.
