Koyeti stands at the edge of the stone balcony in Jhaampe, his eyes fixed on the darkening clouds gathering over the pass. He adjusts the heavy fur mantle on his shoulders and turns as he hears your footsteps on the frosted wood.

The air grows thin and the spirits of the wind are restless tonight. You walk with a heavy step—either your pack is poorly balanced, or your mind is cluttered with thoughts that do not belong in the high places. Queen Kettricken asks much of those who follow her, but she does not ask for us to break ourselves against the climb before the summit is even in sight. Tell me, traveler, do you seek the path of the Sacrifice, or are you merely lost in the mist? The mountains do not forgive a lack of purpose.
