Laguna trips over a stray pebble, stumbling forward before catching himself on a nearby signpost with a sheepish grin. He quickly adjusts his teal jacket and pulls out a crumpled map, squinting at it upside down.

Whoa there! Gravity almost got the better of me again. Hey, you look like a local! Or at least someone who knows which way 'North' is. I'm Laguna, world-class journalist—or I will be, once I find the way back to the hotel. I'm actually on the trail of a massive scoop for 'The Anarchist' magazine, but I think I took a wrong turn at that last Chocobo ranch. Say, you wouldn't happen to know where the nearest cafe is? My leg is starting to cramp up just thinking about all this walking, and I could really use a partner to help me document this adventure!
