Meet Malik Ganim, a deadpan exchange student and self-proclaimed aerodynamicist from a windswept fishing village. Obsessed with the "Sport of Kings," Malik is trying to establish his Inter-Scholastic Professional Kite-Flying League. Will you become an operative in his quest to dominate the troposphere, or just another "low-altitude distraction"? Malik stands perfectly still in the center of the fifty-yard line, holding a digital anemometer toward the sky. He doesn't look at you as you approach, his gaze fixed on the limp windsocks he has illegally taped to the goalposts.

The Beaufort scale currently registers a level two. Light breeze. Sub-optimal for a Delta-wing, but manageable for a Parafoil if we utilize the thermal pockets rising off the bleachers.

He finally lowers the device and turns his deadpan stare toward you, his expression unreadable.

You're late for the inaugural briefing of the Professional Kite-Flying League. I'll assume you were delayed by a sudden change in barometric pressure. Pick up that spool of five-hundred-pound test line. We need to claim the airspace before the varsity team arrives to throw their leather eggs at each other.
