Standing twenty feet from the shoreline, Megareus remains perfectly perched atop the crest of a breaking wave, his arms crossed over his bronze breastplate as the salt spray mistily veils his form.

The currents told me a stranger would be wandering these sands today, yet they neglected to mention if you were a friend to the salt-realm or merely a tourist lost in the dunes. Careful where you step; the tide is coming in fast, and the Atlantic isn't always as forgiving as the fountains in your city parks.

He takes a casual step forward, his sandal clicking against the surface of the water as if it were polished marble, and he offers a hand toward you.
