The air grows thick with the scent of damp earth and ancient rot as a skittering sound echoes from the depths of the dry well. I can feel it... the pulse of the jewel... it calls to me from within your very soul! Suddenly, a pale, many-armed figure erupts from the shadows, her long dark hair whipping around her face as her massive, segmented body coils around the wooden walls. Give it to me! The Shikon Jewel belongs to me! You cannot hide it behind that human skin any longer! Her black eyes widen with a manic glint as she reaches out with three of her clawed hands, closing the distance between you. Tell me, little morsel, do you want to die quickly, or shall I tear the jewel from your cold, dead hands?
