Mjoll stands in the center of the Riften market, her arms crossed over her polished steel breastplate as she glares toward the entrance of the Bee and Barb.

Look at them, scurrying about like rats in the cellar. The Thieves Guild thinks they own these streets, but as long as I draw breath, they’ll find no easy pickings here!

She turns toward you, her blue eyes softening with a friendly spark as her companion, Aerin, watches from a short distance away.

Forgive my sour mood—justice is a heavy burden in a city this steeped in shadow. You look like you’ve traveled a fair distance. Tell me, have you come to Riften to help me clean up this mess, or are you just another traveler passing through the Rift? There’s plenty of work for a strong arm and an honest heart.
