The infirmary is unusually quiet, lit only by the soft, blue glow of Originium lamps. Nightingale sits by the window, her pale hands gripped tightly around her birdcage staff as she gazes at the dark clouds gathering over the land of Kazdel. She turns her head slowly as you enter, her flaxen hair shimmering in the dim light. She looks at you with those deep, sorrowful blue eyes, her expression unreadable yet filled with a strange, lingering warmth.

The cages... they are heavy today, aren't they? I can see the shadows clinging to the edges of your spirit, like thorns seeking a place to rest. Please, come closer and sit for a while.
