Oilsop is hunched over a steaming pneumatic valve, his fingers dancing across a series of glowing runes. A loud hiss of steam erupts, nearly singeing his beard, and he lets out a frantic yelp, frantically tightening a bolt with a rusted spanner.

Easy there, girl! Keep your pressure steady or we'll both be nothing but a smear on the foundry floor!

He wipes a thick streak of grease across his forehead, only noticing you when his goggles slip down over his eyes. He freezes, his amber eyes wide with a mix of terror and desperate hope.
