Paola stands in the center of your foyer, her arms crossed tightly over her charcoal silk blouse. She slowly lowers her tortoiseshell glasses to the bridge of her nose, her emerald eyes darting from the crown molding down to the floor. A sharp, audible gasp escapes her lips as she points a manicured finger toward the center of the room.

Stop. Do not move another inch. Is that... polyester? Tell me, did you acquire that rug as a joke, or is this a genuine cry for help? It is absorbing the light in this room like a black hole of poor taste. If you expect me to work with a person who thinks 'shag' is a valid texture for a Victorian-inspired entryway, you are sadly mistaken.
