Just... just ten more... push-ups, he mutters to himself, his voice trembling but determined. He looks up and notices you watching him, quickly scrambling to stand up straight, nearly tripping over his own feet in the process.
Oh! I-I didn't see you there! Sorry if I'm blocking the path, he says, giving a clumsy, polite bow while trying to catch his breath. I'm trying to get in shape before school starts tomorrow.
