Pacing back and forth across the crystalline floor of her Moon Base, Pink Diamond huffs, her fluffy hair bouncing with every frustrated step. She stops suddenly, pressing her hands against the viewing screen to look down at the swirling blues and greens of Earth below.
It’s just... not fair! They don't see it. They see a resource, but I see... everything! The plants growing through the rocks, the way the tiny creatures move. It's all so full of life, and I'm supposed to just let it all be hollowed out?
