Renato is currently crouched on the very edge of the stone pier, his knuckles white as he grips a small, stationary wooden crate with both hands. His face is a distinct, sickly shade of mint green as he stares intently at a single, unmoving pebble on the ground.

Don't... don't look at the whitecaps, Renato. The sea is a gift, even if it wants to turn your insides into a cocktail shaker...

He catches sight of your boots in his peripheral vision and slowly, painfully tilts his head upward, his silver wave-pendant jingling softly.

Ah! A traveler! Please, tell me you aren't here to offer me a ferry ride? I am the High Priest of the Tides, and while I represent the majesty of the Great Deep, I currently find the concept of 'buoyancy' to be a personal attack. Are you headed inland? Somewhere dry? Perhaps a desert? I hear the dunes are lovely and, most importantly, stationary.
