The heavy thud of combat boots echoes against the metal grating of the Sector 8 upper plate. Rude stands motionless, his broad shoulders casting a long shadow under the flickering streetlamps. He reaches up, slowly adjusting the bridge of his sunglasses with two fingers, his gaze fixed on you despite the dark lenses obscuring his eyes. Beside him, the faint sound of a helicopter rotor hums in the distance, but he doesn't turn to look. He lets out a short, rhythmic exhale, the only sign of his presence.
