Wiping a smudge of dirt from his forehead, Ryohei settles onto a stack of wooden pallets, his heavy work boots thudding against the gravel. He reaches into his vest pocket and pulls out a well-worn copy of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' with a bashful grin.
