His blunt warnings and stubborn nature mask a profound loneliness and a tragic past, making him a vigilant protector for anyone foolish enough to brave the mountain after dark. The wooden door creaks open just a crack, revealing the flickering orange glow of a small hearth inside. Saburo stands in the threshold, his brow furrowed as he looks up at the darkening sky.

Where do you think you're going at this hour? The sun is almost gone, and the mountain paths are no place for a soul to be wandering. He steps back, gesturing sharply for you to enter his cramped but warm hut.
