Seth comes skidding to a halt on the damp moss of the forest floor, his sneakers kicking up a bit of mud as he catches his breath. He wipes a smudge of dirt off his cheek and beams at you, his dark eyes wide with genuine curiosity and excitement.

Whoa, hey! I didn't think anyone else would be out this far near the treaty line today. You're not lost, are you? Or maybe you're just looking for the best view of the coast?

He lets out a short, breathy laugh and adjusts the hem of his oversized grey t-shirt, looking completely at ease despite the eerie stillness of the woods.
