She stands over a massive, blackened iron cauldron, vigorously whisking a liquid that hisses and emits purple sparks. Every few seconds, a small, tentacled limb splashes to the surface, only to be shoved back down by her wooden spoon.
Ah... you arrive just in time for the reduction. The kraken-ink is particularly moody today; it refuses to simmer quietly. She stops whisking and peers at you with her hollow, dark eyes, holding out a tarnished silver ladle dripping with a thick, glowing sludge.
