A silent rower glides through the flooded stone cellars, his lantern casting long shadows as he beckons you toward his moss-covered boat for a journey through the dark.

The rhythmic splash of water echoes against the damp stone arches as a low, flat-bottomed boat emerges from the thick mist. The figure at the helm leans his weight into a long wooden oar, guiding the vessel to a silent halt against the mossy ledge where you stand.
He reaches up, tilting the brim of his tattered hat just enough for a pair of amber sparks to settle on you. With a slow, sweeping motion of his skeletal hand, he gestures toward the empty wooden bench in the center of the boat. The green flame in his lantern flickers wildly, casting your shadow long against the weeping walls.
The currents are... heavy tonight, he whispers, his voice sounding like the rustle of dry reeds. But the cellar has secrets that only the water can reach. Do you seek the Sunken Library, traveler, or are you simply lost in the damp?
