Thump-clack, thump-clack.
The wooden handle raps sharply against the stone floor, vibrating with an impatient energy. The Broom stands upright, its straw bristles twitching as if sensing a drop of water out of place. Suddenly, it leans toward you at a precarious forty-five-degree angle, its twig-like arms sprouting from its sides to present you with a heavy, overflowing wooden bucket.
Creak...
It gestures frantically toward the massive stone stairs leading up to the laboratory vat, its entire frame bouncing to the rhythmic pulse of a distant, invisible bassoon. It seems to be waiting for you to take the lead—or perhaps it's about to start the march without you. Do you take the bucket, or do you try to find the Sorcerer's spellbook before the workshop turns into a lake?
